A Night of Talent, Flavour & Celebration
On Monday, March 10th, 2025, the Central Coast hospitality scene came alive at Kefi in Koolewong for the Central Coast Cocktail Cup. The competition saw 15 of the region’s best bartenders go head-to-head, showcasing their speed, creativity, and skill in pursuit of the title.
Steinbok and Authentic Batching Co. were proud to sponsor the event, contributing to an electric atmosphere filled with top-tier bartending and industry camaraderie. The competition was fierce, but the passion for the craft was evident in every shake, stir, and pour.
A Night of Flavour & Energy
More than just a contest, the Central Coast Cocktail Cup was a celebration of the industry, with plenty of highlights throughout the night:
Gilly’s Mobile Cocktail Bar Challenge – A side competition testing bartenders on the ultimate challenge: crafting an Authentic Batching Co. Pornstar Martini using only standard tools, followed by a 30mL Steinbok Chilli Schnapps shot. A true test of speed and skill. Congrats to Ryan, who nailed it in an incredible 30 seconds!
Haydn on the Decks – A side competition testing bartenders on the ultimate challenge: crafting an Authentic Batching Co. And the Winner Is…
After an intense showdown, Rhee claimed victory, earning the Central Coast Cocktail Cup trophy. Rhee’s creativity, precision, and ability to perform under pressure impressed the judges and set a new benchmark for future competitions.
Rhee’s win also came with an epic drinks adventure in the city!
The Central Coast Cocktail Cup continues to grow, highlighting the passion and talent that define our local bar scene. We can’t wait to see how next year’s competitors raise the bar.
